Museum Day " 18 May 2010"

This is an event that i have attended in this month " MUSEUM DAY ". Starting from BAHARI MUSEUM and ending in BANK MANDIRI MUSEUM. Many teenagers attended this event, loves to see them exciting with the museum rather than hanging out at Mall.

For me this event also interesting because it could be enhance our knowledge about the history of our country. This event invited by Komunitas Historia Indonesia and i was joined in first group of this community.
The participates of this event around 150 people and divided by 3 groups.

  • these are the first group of KHI member ^ _ ^ so hot outside but we are happy.
     













  • BAHARI MUSEUM

    Bahari Museum which is exhibit various relics of Dutch East India Company (VOC) in the past such as in the form of a model or a small replica, photos, paintings and various models of traditional boats, the original boat, navigation equipment, port and other objects which associated with Indonesian Maritime. 






  • SYAHBANDAR TOWER

    syahbandar tower is around 50 mtrs from BAHARI MUSEUM, and its serves as a relay station and observation post since 1839. 




















  • Continue the journey to JEMBATAN INTAN we can walk from syahbandar tower its around 15 minutes. My friends said it was nice when we come here at night. When the lights are turn on, good idea must be try some time. 






  • Afterward we go to the center of BATAVIA its called FATAHILLAH park. In here there are Fatahillah Museum, Wayang Museum and Seni Rupa and Keramik Museum. For whom loves with the history will say its amazing park, nice view and good place to take pictures hehehehe ^ ^. Couldn't write much but you can see from the pictures below.

hi all ..... 

this is my first vacation while i move to Jakarta ^ ^ too late i think hehehe, because it has been 3 years I'm staying in Jakarta the traffic city.

Well, first vacation was visiting indramayu which is famous with "mangga indramayu". Believe it, i didn't go anywhere when i was there so I still didn't know anything bout this city. And guess!!! this is also my first experience using train hehehehe.  Please don't asked me with "HOW COME" because there aren't train in Kalimantan.
